Should I go for the Mazda 3 'i' or 's' for more money?

I'm hoping to check the Mazda 3 out this weekend! One question though, what model would you consider a good choice to fully experience what the Mazda 3 has to offer? The "i" model or should i go for the sport "s" model for more $$?
