The New Look 2012 Mazda MX5 is set for a Revolution in affordable sports cars by planning the Next MX-5 model, with Mazda bringing the Miata back to its roots, while offering a New Age design. The new MX5 Miata will come to the world in 2012 and will use MazdaUSA’s outgoing Nagare design language, as autocar reports. The only downfall is no navigation available on the MX5 Miata. Good thing for affordable aftermarket GPS systems. Click here for Shocking Low Cost Navigation Solutions for your Mazda The Nagare design language is inspired by nature’s flowing elements and is used on the new 2012 Mazda MX5 in order to make the most out of it - and inspire the affordable sports cars nation - the only series vehicle to have received it is the newly designed 2012 Mazda Mazda5, a vehicle that showcases the design language but has a different buying segment to satisfy. The Nagare design language is inspired by nature’s flowing elements will not be featured on any more of the new Mazda concepts. It will be replaced by a new design direction this fall to continue Mazda USA's direction to break new ground stay on the edge of excitement. The technical side of Mazda USA has considered that the new Mazda MX5 model is starting to drift away from the original vehicle’s philosophy. The Japanese automotive maker has chosen to set a weight target of 1,000 kg (2,200 lbs) for the new MX5 Miata. This would allow the model to offer pure driving pleasure (Zoom-Zoom experience) and also keep the fuel economy high and the CO2 emissions low. MazdaUSA's engineers are still weighing the best fit for this affordable sports cars power plant that will be found under the hood of the next generation of the roadster. The newest engine design from MazdaUSA is the leading guess which includes two Sky-G petrol units (the Sky-G engines are specifically built for increased efficiency). The main considerations are the 1.6 liter and the 1.8 liter engine. The engines will come with the 6 speed manual transmission standard for the new 2012 Mazda MX5 Miata.
